A Nice Cuppa and Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies

  • I am having loads of fun making projects with A Nice Cuppa stamp set and the coordinating Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies. These can be ordered separately, or in a bundle saving you 15%. A great deal!

  • This was a fairly quick and easy card to make. I started with the Thick Whisper White Cardstock as my card base cut  4-1/4 x 11.
  • The top layer is Bermuda Bay cardstock cut 5 x 4 . I stamped that using a stamp from Timeless Textures stamp set and Whisper White Craft Ink. Then I cut the piece at 3" and then adhered the two pieces to the front of the card base using dimensionals.
  • Next I cut out the teacup and little heart "steam" using the white Corrugated Paper and the framelits from the set. I used dimensionals to adhere the cup and the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the heart.
  • I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut one end to make a banner and used Glue Dots to adhere to the teacup.
  • The spoon - okay, how cute is that spoon??!! It looks real and is so sweet. I used the Silver Foil Paper to cut that out and a couple of Glue Dots were used to adhere it.
  • For the bow I used Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine and the Metallic Silver Thread. I wrapped the thread around my fingers and then bunched it together and used Glue Dots to attach to the spoon - OH that spoon is to cute!
  • I thought I needed to balance out the silver spoon with something silver so I chose the silver sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment. The Fine Tip Glue is excellent to use for adhering the sequins.
  • I love how this card turned out and I hope it inspires you. I did not think I needed this stamp set and framelits but I'm glad I got it!
