Another Wonderfall Card

Not your typical Fall colors but I really like them. I pulled the colors from the Comfort Cafe Designer Paper. When using the designer papers, it makes it so easy to coordinate colors. This leaf from the Wonderfall set, makes me think of feathers.

Wonderfall

Here is a quick and easy card to stamp using the Wonderfall stamp set. The three pieces of Very Vanilla card stock are layered together and then stamped before layering onto the Crumb Cake card stock background.

World Card Making Day card 5

I tend to be a paper hoarder. I've had the Natural Composition Specialty Paper which by the way is gorgeous, and have not used it until now. I decided it was time to open it! This paper has a glossy, raised pattern printed on heavy-weight paper. There are 6 designs to choose from. I thought the music notes was nice to use for Christmas. I used the Ornaments Keepsakes Bundle again as well as the Festive paper-Piercing Pack. What do you think of the colors of the ornaments? Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade. Let me know what you think!

To add a little glimmer, I used Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details - which looks spectacular in person!

World Card Making Day card 4

A very Victorian looking card wouldn't you say? I used the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle - stamping first, then using the Framelits to cut the ornaments out makes it sooo easy! I used the Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Paper to layer on the stamped ornaments. The ruffles were made using the Victoria Crochet Trim Ribbon. Again I used the Gumball Green Core'dinations Card Stock and embossed it with the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder. Can you tell that I LOVE the Bitty Banners Framelits?

World Card Making Day card 3

The snowflakes on this card were stamped using the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad. This ink gives a beautiful shimmer on the card stock. I added a Rhinestone to the center of each flake which added to the shimmer/glimmer effect!

World Card Making Day card 2

I love the Wonderfall Stamp set and coordinating Autumn Accents Bigz die for the Big Shot.  What I love even more is how easy Stampin' Up! makes it for us to create with product that coordinates. For this card I used all three colors of the Core'dinations Card Stock - Cherry Cobbler for the background which is also embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Early Espresso strip which is embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and the Gumball Green was used to cut the maple leaf and that is also embossed with the Square Lattice Emboss Folder. I used the acorn stamp and markers to stamp on the cut out acorn. I took the colors from the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper that I used for the smaller leaf.

Welcome to the Remarkable Stampers World Card Making Day tour! I'm excited to share with you five different card ideas for you today along with several other demonstrators.  Every six hours today will be a new post.  It's pumpkin season right? I was inspired to make a card with pumpkins. Hmm.. the pumpkins look similar to my blog header. I used the Button Buddies Stamp set in my MDS2 to make the blog header and I used my stamp set to stamp the card! I do love to use ribbon on my cards. For this card I used the Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon down the sides of the Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I think it makes a cute accent. Here is a closer look.

Pocket Silhouettes

Pocket Silhouettes is one of my favorite stamp sets and I'm sad to see it being retired. I think this is one of those sets that makes quick, easy and adorable cards! I recently saw this card on Pinterest and had to copy it!

The original design was done by a demonstrator Heidi Boos. This card sparked an idea for a set of cards using the Pocket Silhouettes that I will be offering as a class to those local to me.

Aren't they sweet? They would make such a nice gift for someone or beautiful cards to have on hand to send to brighten someones day! I'm going to miss this stamp set. If you love it and do not have it, you only have until May 30 to order it. Don't miss out!

Stamp a Stack Class

All week long I have had my Stamp a Stack classes and I've been having so much fun! So has everyone who has come. These are the cards that they made. They did two of each design. I have two more sessions to go. Just for fun I kept track of how much cardstock I cut for this - are you ready? - 900 pieces of cardstock! So glad I can use my Stampin' Up! paper cutter and cut two pieces at a time. Of those 900, I scored 180 and embossed with my Big Shot 180. It only took me 3 1/2 hours to do it. Ha! It's well worth the time and effort. Like I said, we've had so much fun. I'm sure the gals coming tomorrow will as well!
