Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit

The Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit includes:
* Cardstock and envelopes for 20 cards
* Twine, clips, and adhesive die-cut embellishments
* Three-piece Hip Hip Hooray Stamp Set & clear stamp block
* Stampin Dimensionals
* Basic Gray Stampin’ Spot (mini ink pads)
* Full-color instructional brochure

  • Another great kit to have on hand when you want to create a quick card. The self adhesive die-cut embellishments can be stamped with the greetings in the set, or you can always use a stamp set you have on your shelf.
  • I recently had foot and ankle surgery and was unable to get to my stamping studio. My Hip Hip Hooray Kit arrived when I was still non weight bearing. I had thank you cards to write to people who brought meals over. I grabbed the kit, opened it and quickly made cards! Everything I needed was in the kit - except for my paper snips to cut the bakers twine. I sent my husband to my studio to get those ; )
  • Here are the stamps in the set - they are clear mount. Each line in the middle stamp can be inked separately making the set more versatile!

Here are all the cards I made with this kit ( minus a few that I sent out already ). Now I can grab a card off the shelf when I need one to give!

Everyday Occasions Card Making Kit

  • This kit is awesome! I've had my kit for sometime now and only made a few birthday cards which I needed for family birthdays. This week I brought the kit out and put together all the cards that were left - I think 15. The kit makes 20. I had a blast!
  • There is a ton of product in the kit and a colorful brochure that gives you the card designs so you do not even have to think about a design! However, you can just go at it and create your own designs. I find the more I stamp and put together, the more creative my brain gets and I come up with some pretty cool designs.
  • The best part about this kit is you will have a stamp set and ink pads ( small ones ) left to keep on creating cards or scrapbook pages or whatever you decide! I think I even had a few embellishments left over as well.
  • These kits are great for first time stampers or seasoned stampers. If you need a card quickly, grab the kit and put one together. Voila! Instant card.
  • The products in this kit are high quality - as are all Stampin' Up! product. There are even envelopes!
  • The kit does have Stampin' Dimensionls but does not include adhesive or scissors. You may want to consider adding Snail Adhesive and Paper Snips (LOVE my Paper Snip Scissors) to your order.
Here are the cards that I made using this kit.

I used left over product and a piece of Pool Party cardstock in my scrap bin to make the card in the middle.

  • Aren't they adorable?? I love that the card bases come with designs on them. The embellishments are also self adhesive. Peel them off and stick them down. I put  Stampin' Dimensionals (provided in the kit) on the back of some of the embellishments to add dimension and make the card "pop".
  • Great kit to give to someone or to have on hand for yourself at a great price that includes everything you need to create 20 cards!

My Paper Pumpkin Kits

  • I love this months Paper Pumpkin Kit!! In the kit were contents to make a beautiful framed piece as you see in this photo. It also came with tags to decorate with the stamp set in the kit and a sleeve to wrap around the frame to give to someone as a gift.  I cut the sleeve up and used the pretty paper to layer on to cards as shown above.
  • Each month the kits are getting better and better!
  • The Paper Pumpkin Kits come to your door each month wrapped in a bright orange box with everything you need to create a fun project. Each month you receive a different kit with an exclusive stamp set, ink spots and contents to create a one of a kind project.
  • The kits are great for yourself, for a student away at college, grand-kids, for anyone really. A friend of mine subscribes to the kit for herself and a friend and each month they get together to create the project. Here is what she recently told me. "My friend is loving the pumpkins. We get together to make the kits. Drives me crazy waiting to open it".

Happy Watercolor

If you look closely at this card you will notice that the embossing matches the designer paper. Stampin' Up! has a great selection of coordinating products that make projects look so professional! It makes it easy for me to design a card. Thanks Stampin' Up!

How to create the flower:
  • Flower was stamped on white tag using Crumb Cake Ink
  • Ink and Stamp the flower again on a scrap piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock and cut it out.
  • Break up the fibers of the cardstock by scrunching into a ball and bending back and forth. This allows you to peel the cardstock into two pieces leaving you with a thin piece.
  • Adhere the stamped piece that was peeled onto the top of the stamped flower on tag with glue dots. Now you have delicate 3-D flower.

Happy Spring

It is Spring even though the weather doesn't feel like it. We went from 80 degrees, to 28 degrees in a couple of days. How crazy is that! The daffodils and hyacinths made it through the frost which I am grateful for.

  • The card sample uses the stamp set Happy Spring which is in the Occasions Catalog. It is the cutest little set and makes the most adorable projects. The set is offered in both Wood Mount and Clear Mount.
  • I used the Stampin' Write markers to color in the stamp before stamping it onto my cardstock. Because it is one solid image, if I were to ink with a stamp pad it would be all one color. Using the markers to color onto the stamp first allows me to have green stems and colored flowers.
  • I used Stampin' Dimensionls on the back of the flower piece before placing down on the card base to pop it out. I love to use Dimensionls!
  • The twine came from a free Sale a Bration product that was offered in March. As a replacement, the Calypso Coral Baker's Twine would work well with this.
  • I always use Snail Adhesive which is a nice double sided tape to put my cards together.
