Here is a simple card to put together. The base card is Whisper White. I used the Top Note die for the Big Shot to create a background to build on. The flower is from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set which was embossed in gold. I colored the flower in using Sponge Daubers and Tangarine Tango, Pumpkin Pie and Summer Sun ink. The leaves are cut on the Big Shot as well. Simple, yet elegant!

Here is another sample done at a team event - DIVA Day. I love the cherries on this double sided paper. This is the Rockabilly Specialty Paper. It has great texture to it. The black piece with the cherries is shiny! If you look closely at the card base you will see dots on it. That is done using the Big Shot Machine and the Texturz Plate. The flower is also a sizzlet die. The center of the flower is a Rhinestone Brad inside a Grommet ( the black rim around the brad ). The Grommets can be found in the Occassions Mini Catalog on page 19. The words were embossed to match the texture of the cherry paper. The arrow is the My Way Punch. This card has lots of texture. I love it!

Printed Window Sheet Sample #4

Here is the 4th design from the Printed Window Sheets. The card base is Whisper White. I layered a piece of Walk in the Park Designer Paper and layered the window sheet on that using Mini Glue Dots and hiding the glue dots with the 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. The color of the ribbon is Apricot.

Printed Window Sheet sample #3

I just love the way this card turned out. This is again one of the prints from the Printed Window Sheets. I love how the dots coordinate with the dots around the stamped image! The card base is Eggplant Envy. The stamped images come from the stamp set Enjoy Every Moment from the Stampin' Up! Spring - Summer Idea Book & Catalog. I stamped the images in Eggplant Envy ink on Whisper White card stock. That is then layered on to Kiwi Kiss card stock. I love how Eggplant and Kiwi look together. I used Snail Adhesive to adhere the images onto the window sheet and then put snail behind the images and adhered it to the Eggplant Envy card base. That was the way I "hid" the adhesive! The center of the flower is a Kiwi Kiss Corduroy Brad! Don't you love it?!

Printed Window Sheet sample #2

Here is another sample using the Printed Window Sheets from the Ocassions Mini Catalog. Again it was hard to take the picture without getting my image of me taking the picture in the background of the card! Anyway, this print makes an elegant but simple card. I just put the printed sheet over a Lovely Lilac card base. I have not used Lovely Lilac in ages! Any color would look beautiful with this design I think. I used a Mini Glue Dot in each top corner and hid them with a piece of White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Printed Window Sheets

Today's sample uses the Printed Window Sheets found in the Ocassions Mini Catalog ( pg. 10 ). I am loving these!! You get 4 different prints on one sheet. They are lined up to be at for a regular card size - 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. They are beautiful prints and make a quick card. For this sample I just laid the window sheet over a Regal Rose card base. Now, because they are clear you have to be clever in how you attach them to a card. I used beautiful Rhinstone Brads from the Circle Fire collection. I stamped the birthday wishes sentement on the Regal Rose card so it's underneath the window sheet. Once again I used my Big Shot Machine and die cut a Beautiful Butterfly using the Walk in the Park Designer Paper. I used a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the window sheet.

It was difficult taking a picture of this card so the picture does not do it justice. In the bottom right corner is a smudge which I think is a finger print. It's not on there when I look at it. It's gorgeous in real life : ) Be sure to click on the Mini Catalog to the right of the blog and check out the new Printed Window Sheets!

This sample uses two sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog - Great Friend and Oval All as well as coordinating designer paper Walk in the Park. I love how these two stamp sets coordinate! Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to create beautiful projects with coordinating products. The Oval All stamp set is meant to be used with our Oval Punches - the Large Oval Punch and the new Scallop Oval Punch.

The colors used in the card come right off the designer paper. I used Basic Gray for the card base and Whisper White and Regal Rose for the layers. The best wishes and frame behind the butterfly are stamped in Basic Gray. The butterfly is stamped in Regal Rose ink which I cut out and adhered to the card with a mini glue dot.

Be sure to check out the Occasions Mini Catalog by clicking on the link to the right. If you purchase $40 (before ship and tax) from the mini, you get to choose for FREE one of the stamps on the $10 and under page (208) of the Idea Book & Catalog.

How cute is this card! The dress shape was made using the Scallop Circle Die for the Big Shot Machine. I cut the scallop on the Big Shot then cut the shape of the dress with scissors. Just imagine all the different colored dresses you could make! I used the Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper for the dress and also for the one layer underneath. The card base is Baja Breeze. Oh, I used a piece of White Grosgrain ribbon for a belt and a Rhinestone Brad from the Circle Fire collection for the buckle. The edge of the card was punched using the Scallop Edge Punch and I sponged Riding Hood Red ink to make it stand out. Cute, Cute Cute!

Great Friend Sample

Today's sample uses the Great Friend stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I used Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White card stock. The butterfiles were inked in Baja and Kiwi and cut out leaving a tiny border of the white showing. I stamped the leaf image in the two colors. The butterflies are mounted on the card using mini glue dots. I also used the Eyelet Border Punch along the top of the Kiwi card stock. White Taffeta ribbon finishes it off. Isn't it lovely?! This set also coordinates with the Summer Love Rub-Ons and the Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper also in the Mini.

Remember, when you order $40 of product from the Occasions Mini during April, you get to choose for FREE one of the selections from the $10 and under page of the Idea Book & Catalog. As always you can go to my website to shop or send me an email.

Remember in yesterday's post I said I had some leftover scraps from cutting my faux quilt? The scraps were just the right size to use my Stampin' Up! Birds and Blooms Sizzlit die! I used the flower from the 4-pack.

This is a 5x5" card. I am loving the patterns and color of the Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper!

Supplies used: Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper, Whisper White card stock, Riding Hood Red card stock, Basic Gray ink, Sincere Salutations stamp set, Riding Hood Red Taffeta ribbon, Dimensionals.

Today's sample uses the Top Note Bigz die for the Big Shot Machine to make a faux quilt top! Isn't this great?! Stampin' Up!'s double sided papers are great to use for this technique. It's really easy to do.

I punched 12 squares using my 1-1/4" Square Punch and adhered them to a piece of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Whisper White card stock in a pattern that I liked.

I placed that on top of the Top Note Bigz Die and ran it though the Big Shot. How easy is that! I love my Big Shot!! Tomorrow's sample shows what I did with the leftover scraps after I cut the Top Note out.

Supplies Used: Sincere Salutations stamp set, Riding Hood Red card stock, Whisper White card stock, Baja Blue striped ribbon, Basic Gray ink for verse, Baja Blue ink to sponge around verse, Wide Oval Punch, Black Stampin' Write Marker to make stitch marks, Sweet Slumber Specialty Paper.
