One of my favorite new products in the supplement is the Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit.

In the kit there are enough supplies to make 26 stars in 6 sizes to make beautifully decorated star boxes. These are perfect for gift giving or hanging on your tree, decorating a wreath or sitting on your mantle.

This would be a fun project to do with children of all ages! All the pieces in the kit are cut and ready to assemble.

The kit coordinates with the Many Merry Stars stamp set new in the Holiday Supplement, and the Star Framelits Dies.

Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper

The Under the Tree Designer Paper in the Holiday Catalog  comes in 12 x 12 size, 12 sheets: 2 ea. of 6 double-sided designs. Cardstock - weight kraft sheet with color print on one side, white printed patterns on the other. For this card, I used two pieces of the same print. Here is how I made this card.
  • Card base - Garden Green cardstock cut 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
  • Layers - cut two pieces of Under the Tree Paper. First layer cut 5-1/4 x 4, second layer cut 5 x 3-3/4
  • Place two smaller stars from the Stars Framelits collection on the kraft/white piece of cardstock and run through the Big Shot to cut out.
  • Adhere the red piece with adhesive, put dimensionals on each corner of the star piece and place on top.
  • Put a dimensional on the back of the small star that was cut out and put in place.
  • Stamp Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes onto a scrap piece of Kraft Cardstock and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelit. Sponge edges and use glue dots to put in place.

Quick and Simple Card

Another simple card design. The leaf was cut with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die for the Big Shot using a scrap piece of Color Me Autumn Designer Paper. I sponged the edges to make it pop a bit and "hung it" from the gold ribbon. The Hello Fall stamped image comes from For All Things stamp set.The sequins finish it nicely I think. What do you think?
