I love this little Lamb. I mean really, how sweet is that face! It was so much fun putting this together and I am pleased with how it turned out.
- I used the Archival Black Ink to stamp the lamb on a piece of Shimmer Cardstock. This cardstock does have a subtle shimmer to it and is great for watercoloring.
- Using a blender pen and ink, I gently colored in the ears and body of this little cutie. I used Pink Pirouette for the ears and Smoky Slate for the body and Mint Macaron for the grass.
- I adhered the lamb to a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock.
- For the background of the card, I chose the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and embossed with my Big Shot on a piece of 5" x 4" Smoky Slate cardstock and cut that piece at 3" after it was embossed.
- The two pieces were adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals. This technique adds more dimension to the card - something different.
- The layered lamb was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals as well ( yes, I use a lot of dimensional's ).
- To finish my card, I made a bow using Pink Pirouette Seam Binding Ribbon and the Silver Metallic Thread.
- Adorable! The Easter Lamb stamp is in the Occasions Catalog 2016 and is a single wood mounted stamp. Once again I did not think I needed this stamp but when I started to see all the great cards made with it, I had to order it! I'm glad I did.
