Vintage Look Using Truly Grateful Stamp Set

The inspiration for this card came from a sample in the Stampin' Up! Catalog, page 153. There is a lot of texture going on but I like how it came together.

The leaves were cut using the Autumn Accents Bigz die for the Big Shot. The Mossy Meadow leaf was cut and simply scrunched to give it texture. For the oak leaf, I first stamped a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using one of the images from the Truly Grateful stamp set, then placed it over the leaf on the die and ran it through the Big Shot.

The background uses the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, then sponged and torn. In my ribbon scrap jar there was a piece of burlap ribbon which was just right to use here. The words were stamped on Cotton Ribbon. A great way to add more texture to the card!

The acorn stamp was colored in with Stampin' Write Marker, stamped on Vanilla and cut out with scissors.

This is not my usual style of stamping but I had a lot of fun putting this card together.
