- I decided to use the Chevron Embossing folder on the Whisper White layer which ties into the Chevron ribbon. I LOVE that Stampin' Up! has coordinating products to do this!
- I wanted to keep the colors of the acorns soft, so I used two colors of Stampin' Write Markers - Soft Suede for the top of the acorn and Crumb Cake for the bottom.
- I inked and stamped once, then stamped two more times without re-inking to get the shadow effect.
- Don't you love the little wooden leaf elements? I used a bit of Linen Thread to tie the oak leaf around the ribbon and a glue dot to secure the acorn.
This is my little pumpkin box.
- After cutting the pieces for the box, I grabbed my Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and used one of the stamps in that set to stamp on the box. I wanted to make the box look like a pumpkin so this did the trick I think.
- The leaves were cut from the Autumn Accents Bigz die ( for the Big Shot ) in Mossy Meadow.
- To finish the box I used a piece of Chevron Ribbon, Linen Thread to tie the wood accent piece on and then put the leaves in place.
- Of course, before you put the box together, fill it with yummy candy!
