Nature Walk Cards

Well hello! It's a yukky rainy day here in PA. I guess we need it to make everything green again. I look forward to the sun shining tomorrow : )

Today I have some cards to share with you using the Nature Walk stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I love, love, love this stamp set!!

The colors are So Saffron, Old Olive and Vanilla cardstock. I used the Finial Press Embossing Folder and sponged So Saffron Ink over it to give it an aged look. I pleated the Baja Breeze Seam Binding ribbon by running snail along the cardstock and folding while sticking down the ribbon. So easy! The bird was stamped in Basic Black and I added a touch of color using my Aqua Painter and Ink. I added a brad from the Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware Kit. Simple card, yet so pretty I think. 

Another simple card. Black and Vanilla. I used the Newsprint Designer Series Paper for the background on the black cardstock. The bird is simply stamped in Basic Black. A piece of hemp twine finishes this simple card that would be perfect to give to a man. 

This last sample uses the Botanical Gazette Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the Nature Walk stamp set. I love how Stampin' Up! has coordinating products!  I used the Top Note die for the Big Shot to cut out a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then stamped in a collage technique all over using the different stamps in the set. The colors I used were Marina Mist, Early Espresso and So Saffron. I finished it off with a piece of Old Olive Seam Binding ribbon. I LOVE that ribbon! Do you love these samples?!
