Today's sample uses the Decor Elements stencils Vintage Ornaments I and Vintage Ornaments II found in the Stampin' Up! Definitly Decorative catalog. I found this frame at a store on a clearance table for $2. I wasn't sure exactly what I would do with it but for 2 bucks, I had to buy it knowing that I would be able to do something. It was perfect for the ornament stencils. I used the Brocade Motifs stamp set to stamp on the mat that came in the frame. It was just to plain. I think it turned out great. I have it hanging in my foyer as decoration for the holidays!

My Digital Studio Card

I am having so much fun with MY DIGITAL STUDIO. I created a card this morning which took me all of 10 min. I used the new BERRY CHRISTMAS digital download to creat this card. I do not have this stamp set. I was so happy that I could purchase it as a download and add it to My Digital Studio stamp sets.

I created another card using My Digital Studio this morning. It took all of 10 minutes maybe. This one I sent to the printer and it's on my order. I can't wait to see it when it comes!

I went to see a play last night at the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster called Dial M for Murder. It was very good. I was mesmerized by the set design. It was monocromatic in grey tones - just beautiful. I could not stop thinking about recreating the wallpaper on a card. Is that a riot! This morning I opened My Digital Studio and went to work. It's close but not exact. I used Friends 24/7 stamp set and changed the opacity of the color from the top to bottom. This is how the wallpaper looked on the set. In real life it is much prettier. I added a verse and brads. It just goes to show you that inspiration comes from everywhere! Look around you for creative inspiration. Here is the card.

Great Gift Idea

I simply embellished the box with a piece of  Old Olive Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and made the tag using the level 2 Christmas Punch Hostess Stamp Set. The tag was tied onto the ribbon with Linen Thread. A simple pretty presentation.

My Digital Studio

I am loving working with My Digital Studio! I am realizing that I need to take more pictures. I've never been a big picture taker - you know, just the basic pictures you take for birthday's and Christmas. I'm going to try harder to take more. I'll have practice this weekend when we celebrate 3 birthdays in the family at a gathering at my house!

My Digital Studio ( MDS ) is a versital tool. I've made scrapbook pages, cards, Christmas photo cards, and tags so far. I haven't tackled the calendar yet because I need more photo's! You can make newsletters, stationary, Christmas newsletter's, DVD's, multimedia with music. I enhanced my Facebook profile picture too! It is an amazing papercrafting tool. Here a some samples I've been working on.

Stampin' Up! has a professional printer to print the projects. This gives your projects a professional look and keeps the color's true. If you are like me and like to feel those buttons or brads or 3D images on your project, you can always add those after printing! You can combine digital with the real thing. How cool is that!
