Mini Treat Bag using Sheer Perfection Vellum

Here is another fun way to use the Sheer Perfection Vellum. I made a Mini Treat Bag and put a simple belly band around it using a piece of the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and In Color Bakers Twine in Blackberry Bliss.

These little treat bags fit into an envelope so they make a fun way to send or hand deliver a note to someone! I made a very simple note card using the Simply Wonderful Stamp Set.

The Sheer Perfection Vellum, In Color Bakers Twine and Simply Wonderful Stamp set are a free Sale-A-Bration  product choice with a qualifying order. See my blog post about Sale-A-Bration  HERE

Loving the Sheer Perfection Vellum!

The Sheer Perfection Vellum is my new obsession! For this card I combined the vellum and a piece of designer series paper from the Flowerpot collection. I also colored the center of the flowers with an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker.

You can see the paper here on the inside of the card. How easy is that to give color to the vellum!

I finished the look by using another FREE Sale-A-Bration product choice, In-Color Accessory Pack. There are the sweetest tiny buttons and bakers twine in this selection in the 2014-2016 In-Color Collection. Oh, the you're the best sentiment comes from the Simply Wonderful Stamp Set - you guessed it, a FREE Sale-A-Bration selection as well!

Sheer Perfection Vellum by Stampin' Up!

I LOVE the new Sheer Perfection Vellum! This new product is a FREE Sale-A-Bration product choice with a qualifying order. See my post about Sale-A-Bration HERE.

This pack of vellum is 6x6 in size with 12 different designs. It is beautiful on it's own, or it can be colored in.

I used Stampin' Write Markers to color in the butterflies - one of the gorgeous designs! You get two of each design in the pack by the way. I colored on the backside of the vellum and the markers dried nicely so you do not have to worry about color smear.

The inspiration for my card design came from the Stampin' Up! blog post HERE I just changed it a bit to make it my own. There are other beautiful projects to see there as well. Be sure to take a look!

I used a piece of Typeset Designer Series Paper for the vellum piece to layer over.

The idea for this came from a puzzle that I had given to a friend for her birthday. The image was a world map with butterflies on it! You just never know where your inspiration will come from!

Here is another card I made using another piece of this gorgeous vellum!

Here I used a Sponge Dauber and Perfect Plum ink to color a few of the flowers. Then I simply used a Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Marker to color in some of the leaves. The color does take a bit longer to dry when using a dauber. The markers dry pretty much right away.

I will say that I am sort of obsessed with this vellum. Stay tuned for more projects! I will be sad to see it go. This is only offered until March 31 - don't miss out!

Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies

I have a couple of mini treat bags to show you today. These are made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die found in the Occasions Catalog. I'm having fun making all kinds of little treat bags! They are perfect for holding little treats, gift cards or a notecard or anything that will fit inside!

This one holds a thank you card!

I used the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure to make this bag. This is white paper with a glossy white pattern when colored reveals the pattern. There are six different patterns in this paper pack.

I sponged the paper for the bag with Pink Pirouette ink and a sponge to reveal the flowers and Pistachio Pudding ink on the banner piece which reveals the leaves.  It's so soft and pretty!

Here is a video by Stampin' Up! that shows how easy it is to put these bags together.
