Label Love

I needed to make a quick birthday card the other day, so I headed to my studio to create. I stood at my workbench and started sifting through a pile of scraps that I had laying there and picked colors that I wanted to use. My go to set was the new Label Love stamp set. I like that it has a stamp for many occasions AND a coordinating punch to punch out the stamped image!

It's very simple but I like how it turned out. My colors are Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizazz, Brushed Silver and Soft Sky - colors I would not normally put together, but I love the look.

The Brushed Silver cardstock adds just the right amount of shimmer without being to bold.

These are the new Candy Dots! They are so easy to use. Just peel off and stick down.

Chalk Talk

I am loving the new stamp set Chalk Talk and the coordinating Framelits which make  it so easy to cut out the images. The oval image was punched out using the Extra Large Oval punch.  For my card design I've used two of the new In-Colors, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe. Don't they go together so nicely?

 My card base is Crumb Cake which goes with so many colors. I love this neutral color of cardstock. The ribbon is the new 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim ribbon which comes in each of the new In-Colors. This ribbon is so fun to use! I ran the Pistachio cardstock through the Big Shot using the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder. I think the design coordinates nicely with the design on the stamped image.
