Loving The Butterfly Basics Bundle

Butterfly Basics

Card Details:

• Coastal Cabana Card base 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
• Top layer 5-1/4 x 4 uses the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is a Sale-A-Bration product - free with at least a $50 Stampin' Up! purchase ( before ship and tax ). See THIS POST for all the details. 
• The Irresistibly Yours paper has a glossy pattern that is perfect for coloring using a variety of techniques. Here I used a sponge to sponge the color on. This technique reveals the pattern. 
•  Butterfly was cut using the coordinating thinlit. Make this sandwich when using your Big Shot for easy cutting out.

• double thickness dryer sheet - unscented
• cardstock

• The dryer sheet helps to contain all the small pieces after the piece is cut and the butterfly will just peel right out!

Aren't the colors just amazing? I used a piece of the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper and pulled my color scheme from that. The scrumptious ink I used to stamp with is  ColorBox Chalk Ink. They stamp so nicely!

The black cardstock is Chalkboard Paper. A really nice heavy weight paper that gives the effect of a chalkboard - especially when stamped with the Chalk Ink! The ink also stamps very nicely on the Whisper White cardstock. 

 Don't forget to make the inside of your card look exciting as well!

You Plus Me Valentines

On pages four and five of the new Occasions Catalog is a nice display of Valentine projects that are quick and easy to make. What is so nice about the catalog is that it gives you a reference to the supplies used so you know exactly what you need to create the projects!

These projects highlight the new stamp set You Plus Me and the  Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack that can be purchased separately, or as a bundle.

Here is an easy little pouch to make by just folding a piece of the designer paper in half and securing it with Washi Tape! With a few embellishments, you have an adorable pouch to hold treats!

Stamps, ink, paper and a few accessories make these cute Tiny Treat Boxes. They are a perfect size for a few pieces of chocolate!

Here is a fun shaker card that is very easy to make.

• Punch different colors of scrap cardstock using the Confetti Heart Border Punch
• Cut a piece of Window Sheet to 3-3/4 x 5
• My card is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
• Lay the punched hearts in the center of your card and arrange them so they are flat.
• Lay the Window Sheet down on top and adhere to the card using Washi Tape making sure to overlap the corners so the hearts will not fall out. 
• That's it! You know have a shaker card. 

 Another quick card using the Happy Heart Embossing Folder on the card base.
