Doily Snowflakes

Every snowflake has its own unique shape and is different than all other snowflakes. My doily stamps remind me of snowflakes so I got them out and used them for this card.

Do you notice the perfect outline around the circle? I do not have that steady of a hand to do that! I learned a new trick. 

Isn't that cool? I can't wait to play around using this technique with other Framelits! 

My card size is 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 which meant I needed to make an envelope for it to fit in so I grabbed my Envelope Punch Board and voila! I had an envelope the perfect size. I used the Season of Style Designer Series Paper to create it.

O Holy Night Christmas Card

Not your traditional Christmas red and green colors for this card but I love to use colors that go outside of the box! The colors were pulled from the designer paper that I used  to make the little banners at the bottom of the card. Love them! This stamp set is one of my favorites from the Holiday Catalog. You could use different colored markers and color in, or cut out some of the words and mount them on top of the stamped image for a 3-D effect.

Festive Flurries

This card was inspired by several cards I saw on Pinterest and one that we did in my recent Christmas Card Class. The Northern Flurry Embossing folder coordinates perfectly with the Festive Flurry stamp set and Festive Flurry Framelits Dies which can be found in the HOLIDAY CATALOG

Pool party ink, Silver Glimmer Paper and a Frosted Finishes Embellishment make a gorgeous snowflake!

Christmas Star

I embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and then highlighted the dots using a sponge and Gold Metallic Encore Ink. It adds just the right amount of sparkle and gives the card depth. 

For the inside I added a strip of Washi Tape. The dots on the tape ties in with the dots on the outside!
