I recently attended a Stampin' Up! Regional in Baltimore MD. I was so excited that it was so close to me. Only a car drive and light rail ride away! It's always fun to go to Stampin' Up! events to spend a day with friends and Shelli and staff from the Stampin' Up! home office. They do know how to make it fun!
We always have make n' takes to stamp while we are there and this was one of them.
Isn't this adorable! It's a notepad that we covered. We used the Clockworks stamp set, a set I do not own but will HAVE to get now! It gives a fun vintage feel to the look. I love the color combo as well - Pool Party, Basic Gray, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral and a retiring color, More Mustard.
The flower makes the design look so fun I think. So easy to do by using the Fancy Flower punch. I distressed the cardstock after I punched the flowers and pulled it apart and smooshed it and then put it together with a brad. The button is held in place with a glue dot on top of that.
The little banners are just strips of cardstock that are scored every 1/4" using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. An easy technique that adds interest to the design.
